Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
• Relevant qualification in Electrical/Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
• Management qualification (e.g MBA, Management Development Diploma, etc) would be advantageous.

Experience:
• 8 years in a senior Management role related to construction projects with operational experience and background
• Must have experience in managing turnover
• Good understanding, technical knowledge, and experience with regards to the electrical and / or civil construction industry
• Knowledge and understanding of the occupational health & safety act, PFMA and corporate governance
• Contracts management

• Strong business acumen financial and technical skills, relevant to the specific industry.
• Analytical, systematic, logical and process thinking
• Strong management and organisational skills combined with the ability to manage conflict
• Strong leadership skills (plan, direct, implement, control, review)
• Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to interact with senior management.
• Ability to negotiate, facilitate and influence interactions with employees, clients, suppliers and third parties.
• Ability to write reports (clear and unambiguous written, verbal, and non-verbal communication).
